The new vertical view condenses hierarchy navigation, search, filters, refresh and import controls for a narrow panel beside the viewport. Creators can set list-row height independently from grid tiles, and both preferences persist between Studio sessions.

Assets can now be dragged directly into the workspace, including multi-selection. A placeholder appears while heavier items load without blocking Studio. Names sort alpha-numerically, filters persist across searches, and folder-name errors were fixed.

Roblox plans to make the beta opt-out within weeks and fully replace the legacy Asset Manager later in July. Existing aliases will remain, but new aliases cannot be created after launch. Preview, versioning and search-based folder organization are next on the roadmap.
