Duped means duplicated: illegitimate copies of a Roblox item created through exploits, which crash its trading value once discovered.

A dupe is a duplicated item — exploiters clone a rare knife or pet, multiplying supply that was supposed to be fixed. Value lists mark affected items as 'duped', and their prices can collapse overnight.
Games fight back with wipes, serial tracking and trade rollbacks, but dupe waves remain the biggest shock events in trading economies like MM2's. Before paying a premium for a rare, check whether the community flags it as duped.
