In mid-June, Roblox confirmed that access to the platform had been restored in Russia. In a short official note, the company said it considers local laws while continuing to build a safe space for play, learning and creation.

Russian authorities reported the lifting of restrictions on June 10 and connected the decision with additional user protection measures. For players, it was the practical return of the platform after roughly six months of restrictions.

The return also matters for the creator economy: Russian-language developers kept publishing through the restriction window, but their local audience had to rely on workarounds. With access back, regional games regain organic traffic, and brands regain a market where Roblox had been one of the most popular platforms among younger players.
