Players can choose default avatar backgrounds or buy themed designs in Marketplace, with the initial artist-made set starting at 200 Robux. Plus subscribers receive free exclusive backgrounds, and Roblox says they will be able to upload and sell their own designs through Creator Hub in the coming weeks.
In August, Plus will gain more than ten app themes with coordinated colors, interface accents and background styling. Profile frames will begin rolling out later with a limited selection. Roblox also highlighted existing creator revenue routes: up to 750 Robux for a converted subscription, up to 100 Robux for Plus engagement in paid private servers, and revenue share on purchases discounted for subscribers.
