Private server — meaning in Roblox
A private server is a paid (sometimes free) personal instance of a Roblox game where only invited players can join — no strangers, no chaos.

Private servers (old name: VIP servers) give you a copy of a game for you and your friends. Developers set the price in Robux per month; some games offer them free to boost communities.
They matter for more than privacy: grinders use them for uninterrupted farming, traders for safe meetups, and event hunters for spawn control. In competitive games they are the standard way to run scrims and tournaments.
